Before I came upon The Book of Earths by Edna Kenton I had already read Cosmic Memory, a book published from the works of Rudolf Steiner. Kenton was an American born in 1876. Steiner was an Austrian born in 1861. Both these books present ancient cosmologies which are the ideas and stories of the origin of what we call the universe. One story, one uni verse, a unit of words.
Each of the books provide insightful elements of human prehistory and humanity's early history, and each shines a focus upon the evolutionary development of our earth.
Steiner tapped into the unseen realms of the akashic records to gain a knowledge of a cosmology which could only be relayed as abstract and spiritual wisdom. A source which has faded in time and perhaps only humans still receptive to this ancient method may freely access and comprehend.
Kenton tapped into the material world of museums and copyrighted material. The mysterious historical realm of records which though material in form remain mostly out of sight and out of reach for most. Only some few humans are able to access it.
It 'appears' that whichever source of information we gravitate toward it will require from the human a belief in the source of knowledge.
