DID YOU KNOW....Back in the 60's the way people kept their watches or the clocks at home synchronized to all the other clocks was by calling Time.
By dialing 717 on the rotary dial land line phone a call would ring through and the time lady would pick up the call and say
"At the tone the time will be ... seven forty seven... and 5 seconds"....BEEP.
And then she would keep repeating the time and the tone would beep again until the caller hung up.
Nowadays... The time lady is buried in a time capsule memory and the clocks have gone nuclear

But even when the time lady still answered the call there were researchers building atomic clocks. Today the atomic clocks rhythmic tick tocks is caused by electrons that oscillate, move back and forth, in the invisible space around the nucleus of the atom.
These crazy atomic clocks are now so on time that they supposedly only lose a single second in the course of about 31 billion years. But who is old enough to know if this is true?
And now even the atomic clocks aren't good enough, These are about to be replaced by the new and improved, faster smarter smaller wiz bang - nuclear clock.
Scientists have now built a nuclear clock which uses the vibrations of atomic nuclei to keep time.
These nuclear time pieces will be time travelling and probing into the deepest mysteries of the universe.
