Be the change. Its not the dollars, its the change that matters.
"A world ravaged by two destructive wars in the course of half a century, still bleeding from its wounds, and not yet free from the fear of future wars,..." September 1948
"The older generation has not completely shed the greed, selfishness and hatred that led to war and bloodshed in the past, and not much can be hoped for from it." -September 1948
"It is to the younger generation that one should look for hope and progress. They need spiritual guidance most, for it is they who will shape the new world." September 1948

Maybe that younger generation didn't get the memo. Or, maybe that paticular younger generation was dead, physically and spiritually, because it is the younger generations that fight the wars.
Is it, or was it, reasonable, responsible, to expect that particular younger generation to shape the world. The world had shaped them.
The older generation most likely outnumbered the younger, after all wars dead and done. The greed and selfishness and hatred was not shed by the older generation.
Instead,
what was shed was the blood of the younger, merely to feed that hunger of greed and hatred.
WHEN DOES IT CHANGE?
Who teaches the younger generation? The older.
The next generation of change is the propagation of living organisms not dead ones.
To generate is to cause something to arise or come about. We generate emotion, we generate electricity ... to help make weapons and data centers. We generate money out of thin air, but I hear we are getting rid of change.
It takes energy to generate Power. Who is this source of energy?
Who feeds the power hungry.
If we take on the responsibility for what is, we can be responsible for what can be.
And the next generation, the younger generation, can then Keep The Change.
Be Responsible and response able.
