This resource tells us Bruges is enchanting, even in the rain. The Groeninge Museum houses the finest collection of Flemish Primitives in the world, a cornucopia of Van Eyck, Memling, Bouts, Petrus Christus etc.   And Waterloo is an hour or so away.  On a tour of the area .....We discussed why Napoleon lost the battle.   It sounds like an interesting story.

This resource will give a short overview of the Gallic Empire, Gaul.

And this resource will show why there is always a bit of mystery in history, specifically in relation to the Vikings, and Gaul, Gallic, Gallia  .  Different parts of the world have different names or places and versions of stories.
